  • 22 orcas have been exhibited at Marineland. Of these, 7 have been exported or re-exported, 8 are dead or presumed dead and 4 have died elsewhere. There are a total of 12 dead or presumed dead (54.5%) and 7 still alive at Marineland as of Sept. 98. Marineland has refused to confirm or deny this disposition.

  • In 1989 Marineland reportedly had 10 bottlenose dolphins; only 1 remained alive by the fall of 98. There are no public records indicating their sale or transfer and Marineland will not provide information regarding this disposition.
